13 year old Golf clubs?
MY son is about to turn 13 and he has definitly outgrew his Golf Set. It has really affected his game and when he uses his friends clubs hes a lot better because there bigger. i dont know if there is any teen golf clubs if so tell me where u saw them or what brand. I dont know if i should buy him Womens Golf Clubs teen clubs (if they have them) or mens clubs. please help me and give me advice for what to get him

there are two ways to do this . have him custom fitted for length and lie at reputable major Golf Outlet . clearance sets of 2008 are selling for under 300 dollars . at 5 feet , he will need shorter shafts . this is easy. buy quality used set . reshafting by clubfitter would be in the 15 dollar per club range . three to 9 iron would need replacing . toss three iron . 13 year olds do not have strengh needed to hit . this way you can get a great set of irons , reshafted for 250 dollars . third option would be . to have shafts in clubs , removed . put 9 iron shaft into 8 iron , 8 iron shaft into 7 iron , 7 iron shaft 6 iron . etc . this will shorten clubs by one half inch . ladies clubs , to strong to hit . the used club route does give very inexpensive solution . little trouble , but a thousand dollar set of clubs for 200 to 250 works. in my sixties do it all the time.
