High gas prices are great…now our cops are protecting us on bikes, skates, and golf carts. And to think there is tons of oil in Alaska the Dem’s won’t vote to drill for.

All you have to do to avoid law enforcement in 90% of US cities is stay off the streets.
Bike patrols are incredibly effective, especially in urban areas.
Anyway, I know you were making a crack about the democrates having something to do with the price of oil.
Here’s the deal, it’s not about drilling for oil in Alaska or anywhere else. The current price of oil isn’t the result of a shortage, it’s the result of speculation and price manipulation.
Bet you the record 36 billion dollars that the oil companies made in profit last quarter (that’s the money you make after all your expenses and liabilities are paid), that 99% of the people that are speculating and manipulating prices are republicans.
Oh yea, let’s give the oil companies a 34 billion dollar tax break for, *drum roll* no reason at all. I could see it if it was linked to building refineries, but it’s not, it’s just the republicans hooking up their buddies.
Oh yea, let’s have the CEOs of the major oil companies testify to congress about their record profits, but *drum roll 2*, not have them swear to tell the truth.
The democratic party has been incredibly lame in not fighting effectively to keep this stupid, greedy disaster from happening, but blamming it on them is just ignorant.
