I have this Multiclored Rock need to know what it is?
I found it in WV.Its about the size of 2 Golf balls combined.It chanes colers like crazy one way i the light it is green nd blue and yelloe,turn it over and its like red orange and purple.Its crazy I dot know if it is a rock or mineral or what but I would like to have some info or sites where I can look it up…Thanks ,Best answer will be given!
Because the rock changes colors in the light, I would suggest that you look up google images of different kinds of feldspars.
I would suggest the following varieties of feldspar:
labradorite
orthoclase
plagioclase
from your description, it sounds like labradorite.
