Tiger must get up steam as a threat to Tiger Woods
EA has used Tiger Woods as the front man for his Golf game in many years, and was in contrast to several sponsors also loyal to his partner when he was at the center of one of the sports world’s juiciest scandals.
But in recent times he has simply not done particularly well on the golf course, and this can get EA to respond.
- We have no plans to move away from him, but there is talk of a business relationship on the basis that we make the best Golf Game and he is the best golfer. Both of these things have to vote for the partnership to be sensible in the long run, “said EA CEO John Ricitiello said.
He emphasizes that he does not mean this as a threat to Tiger Woods,

and that they are pleased with the partnership so far.
- He has been with us for very long, and we’ve been doing good business together. We are willing to let the doubt to him a while, “said Ricitiello.
The company has recently launched a golf game on Facebook that do not use the Tiger Woods name.
Analysts have previously said they believe the scandals surrounding the American golfer has broken sales to the golf game series. This year’s edition sold nearly 70% lower than last year’s game, according to Gamasutra. This despite the fact that the game according to our reviewer is very good.
